200 gr ELD X Twist Rate
My Tikka 300wm has a 11" twist. The 200 gr ELD X says 10 twist. Just wondering if i will be able to stabilize these bullets in my Tikka?

http://www.bergerbullets.com/twist-rate-calculator/ This site gives some good info for those questions.
If you need to look up your bullet length then this site has a good list http://www.jbmballistics.com/ballist.../lengths.shtml Ive shot my personal best group ever out of my 300 wm with the eldx 212's they seem to group well I'll give them a try on some game this season and see how they preform expansion and retention wise. |

recommended twist. Doesn't say another barrel cant shoot them. I cant get the ABLR to shoot out of my Remington sendero but it shoots bergers unreal

Try em out is the only way to tell nobody here can tell you if your gun will stabilize them or shoot them well. My 300wm shoots the 212g very well it is a
1/10 twist benchmark 5r. With 200g and 1/11 it should do just fine in a 300wm you probably would only have to worry at 30-06 or 308 velocity That being said i did get respectable groups from my old mosseberg 810a 30-06 with the 212g not sure the twist rate |
Good to know guys. Thanks going to have to get some and try them.

1-10" 26" barrel
I would for sure just buy them and try them out |
I have a Tikka T3 Varmint in 300wm with a 1-11 twist. I shoot the 200gr. ELD-X and have had pretty good success with them so far.

I've tried them in factory loads 300WM 24" barrel 1:10. They group great. Never used them on a critter yet.
|
I use them in 1:10 twist 308. Only shot bears with them, kills them fast.

Picked some 200gr eld x up today. Hoping for good things out of these.
