First Run To The Cabin

We were restricted by roadblock from going on the Long Weekend but were able to go last weekend. Water was cold, fish were really shallow. We had a real good strectch of action Sunday where we boated about 100 pike in three hours. Going back tomorrow, should be even better.

Do you by chance need a volunteer maintenance/cleaner type person for your cabin? lol. I would happily clean, cook, do laundry.

Great pics!!

Crazy beautiful Pike there. Awesome guys!!

Have heard Pike called many things over the years, not all flattering either. Yet to me, catching these freshwater sharks can be a whole lot of fun. Put them back safely and on to the next one.

Good job guys

We are flying in to our cabin tomorrow now that restrictions in N Sask have been relaxed.......latest I've seen the ice come off in several years so am pretty pumped!!

I like that most guys don't wish to target them. We love catching and releasing big pike and find that a 5 pounder makes an awesome eater too.
This past weekend, it was my my oldest son who landed and released the largest.

It looks like you know where to find them in Cold Lake. I'm not too far away from there and have always wondered about the big pike bite on that lake, it's gotta hold some giants.

the lake is hit hard....they are there but you gotta toss a lot of lures plus people keep them too.....and the netting of fish etc.....I like the northern part of Saskatchewan for big gators in abundance.

You guys seem to have a beauty honey hole!!!!
