FYI: New Rapala B. Trout Paintjob
 

I was in BassPro yesterday, and as always looked through the Rapala selection even though my tackle box is fully stocked.

However, immediately my eye was caught by the Brown Trout Rapala Countdown, which is likely the most popular Rapala selection around here - it's almost always out of stock past March/April time.

Anyway what caught my eye was it has a new paint job. They toned in some more pink-shades on the sides of the lewer...I think it makes it look more natural. Still has the basic brown and the speckles and all that of course, but just a little bit more pink on the sides. Looks really good.

So I picked up 4 for myself (size #7) before they're gone!

I bought some today from Bass Pro as well. Easily my favorite lure in existence. It works well for anything, not just browns. I also noticed the new paint. Subtle but it is nice.

ya they have at least 3 differnt paintjobs on the rapala fire tiger.

Colors catch the fishermen more than the fish. I dont think the new paint job will be noticed by the fish as its whizzing by its face . But then again I am a fishing lure hoarder.
