For those that voted Trudeau, I hope your happy with his latest announcement of closing down the oil sands. He said, and I quote "You can't just shut them down, we have to phase them out".

Whooo hoooo.

It's almost like he doesn't know where the money comes from .... good grief

Badgerbadger 01-13-2017 01:18 PM

That was a stupid thing to say.

Until more viable resources for manufacturing and transportation are found, petroleum products are it.

(NB, I voted NDP federally, because of their stance on the TPP and bill C-51, so even though I'm a leftist whackjob, I never voted for him)

Having a hard time coming to grips of the reality of voting for Trudeau?

Sneeze 01-13-2017 01:31 PM

Good. I hope he tries do it. I was getting tired of Alberta being a part of Canada anyhow.

Rio56 01-13-2017 01:41 PM

we need checks and balances put in place for qualifications of being PM

1--age
2---IQ level standards

Kurt505 01-13-2017 01:43 PM

I wonder where that speech was hiding on his election campaign?

I'd like to see him make that comment while on a stop in Fort McMurray.

ETOWNCANUCK 01-13-2017 01:43 PM

Enough already.

This tune is wearing thin.

Let's all stop blaming others for the current governments, and concentre on getting people to vote against them in 2019.

Which is still 2.5 years away .

Every time him or her sneezes wrong, people take to crying about it.

Instead of crying,

Let's work on doing something about it.

Or history will repeat itself.

Who's crying?

I guess the liberals probably have burning ears from having to hear "I told you so" so often, but they deserve to have their noses rubbed it it!!!

Anyone that makes posts like this.

It's getting tiresome, hearing the same "told so " song.

Everyone knows.

Unfortunately we can't force an election before 2019.

No sense bitching about it until then.

Yes he does.

Money grows on trees.

Without trees no money.

Carbon kills the environment and thus kills trees.

Then no money.

It is no secret that Trudeau likes getting oil from Muslim countries like these.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/so...tion-1.3610537

The guy's a sell out to the UN.

I'll quit now before I get banned.:angry3:

Bigwoodsman 01-13-2017 02:10 PM

With Truedope as leader the west is screwed. This guy gives the west no hope at all.

It's time for the Western Premiers NT and YT Premiers to boycott first ministers meetings and set an agenda for separation. 150 years of this BS is enough. It will never change for the west as long as we stay apart of confederation. Quebec has it right they just don't have the balls.

I can't be the only one.

I wish we had a forum that talked about the great outdoors in Alberta.

Wait a minute....

Wait a minute....

I've never seen you post on the guns and ammo, hunting, or fishing sub-forums, about the closest thing to the outdoors I see you do is trolling the general section!

Wait a minute....

Are you being held against your will?
Are you being forced to pay your membership here?
We can take up a collection to help you get out of your contract.

The money that people make from working in the oil field and all the spin off jobs are what allow us to enjoy actually being in the great outdoors.

Some like to enjoy that activity and others just want to talk about it..
Good grief man.

Well actually I do
But

There hasn't been anything worth posting to on those forums.

You must be new here.

One can't post anything without too many armchair experts crawling out of the basement.

Wait a minute....

And I don't troll so much as keep some of you guys in check.

My opinion often mirrors what Kurt has to say. Ive taken note over the years that he's typing what I'm thinking.
Maybe it's our age bracket.

I almost never agree with the drivel I see spilling out of the corner of your lip.

Not here for you,

But I'll argue against you.

Also no need for resulting to personal insults.

Or can you not see the trees through the forest.

I have fun with guys like you who think they are always right.
