Wolf doe

Just had a WT doe being chased by 2 wolves
Happened so fast I couldn’t get a shot off

Yikes! That would have been something to see.

They can sure move fast, eh?

Follow the tracks, when they caught her they will stop and you can sneak in for a shot, plus they will call the pack there. Pitter patter!

That is exciting to see! Many years ago I was hunting and came upon a fresh deer bed in the snow. Moments later I hear a commotion up the hill in the brush coming my way. Startled, I get ready for possibly a big buck. Here comes this yearling muledeer running flat out break neck speed followed by a single hugh black wolf. They past by me only 20 yards away. I brought my gun up as the wolf past and the motion caught his attention but I didn't shoot. About 70 yards away he stopped and looked back, I think he scented me and figured out what I was and took off. This all happened within seconds but it's a memory I can not forget.

Just got back from the field. Wow what a rush! Been hunting for 55 years and never had an experience like this.
