Rv window protection

Wondering what people use to protect there rv windows from rocks. Took ours hunting and had 2 windows shatter on the way home. Was told it was caused by rocks hitting the edge.

You can buy the 3M clear tape that you see on the hoods of cars. It protects from rock chips. All my vehicles, sleds and atv's (when I had them) get a layer on the headlamps. It should work on the RV windows.

Add some roll down shutters to the outside if you are going to be on gravel a lot. It is the only way to truly keep the glass in most RVs on a steady diet of gravel.

We sell a moulding product that pushes onfo the frameless window edges to protect them. I can do some homework and see where we source it, but any decent RV shop should be able to get it.

I have those bubble, boat type plastic windows on my trailer. Never a problem with breakage.

Not to resurrect the dead but did you source the moulding product ???? Just broke a window on the weekend and have 6 others I'd prefer not to replace..lol

Rocks

Most rocks come off the truck tires. A rock skirt on back bumper of the
truck should catch them. It will also save rock damage under the trailer.
