30-06 coyote bullet
 

i am thinking about using my 30-06 for coyote using those 55 grain bullets. Anyone have any experience using the 55 grain just curious about ballistics as I cant find any info for them.

I have seen the accelerators used in only a few rifles,but accuracy was marginal at best,and outright terrible in some cases.

X2 on the accuracy issue, and good luck finding any on the shelves regularly.

For a poultry $280.00 and by adding a $120.00 scope you can pick up a NEF single shot and a Bushnell 4-12X Banner scope. Try one in 22-250Rem, and the 40 rnd box of Winchester 45gr's. Then you will have a Coyote rifle.
But if your intent on plugging away a coyotes with your 30'06, I'd simply use what shoots best and deal with the holes in the hides, and being this late in the season chances are you are'nt gonna get much for the hides because they will be getting rubbed.

went with a 6mm and had better results, there are much better choices and options around

I've tried them before but like a few guys have already said, the accuracy of them was terrible. The best I could get from my 30-06 (Rem. 700) was about 5 or 6 inch 3 shot groups @ 100 yards. I think Remington advertised them shooting @ 4000 feet / second at the muzzle.
