Carl gustaf 222 rem

Good day all, I’m trying to get some information on a Carl Gustaf 1900 222 rem sporter (as far as I can tell) also better idea of what it may be worth I can’t find much information on the specific caliber. Any information would be helpful can also text or email pictures if that would help. Thanks!

Google Husqvarna 1900. Same gun, same factory. BTW, they are very fine rifles.

They used to be a little more rare but for the last few years there has been more of them on the market. Check out intersurplus (I think they took over from Tradex) as they seem to always have a bunch for sale. They are a very nice rifle.

It’s the caliber that has me lost. I can’t find one anywhere in 222 rem.

I would say as far as value the deuce would be worth slightly less then the more common 223 REM due to brass and ammo availability. It’s more of a reloading rifle to me. The 1900 is a fine rifle

The 222 is a VERY common chambering in Europe. It was never a military round and was renowned for its accuracy. Commonly used on small deer and other game as well as foxes.
