I'm a broken man therefore I surrender.

My spirit has been broken so I now wave the white flag. 7 months of snow has brought me to this point. Eavestroph were running yesterday. Geese have been flying over for the last week. Beautiful day this morning. Life is good. Ya right. Fml another 1/4" of snow in a hour this evening and still coming down. This is on top of the 3' in the yard we had previously. Please someone make it stop I've had enough. A move to kukamunga is very appealing at this time. Either this or partaking in green herb to put me in a euphoric state where everything is rosie.

get your rod ready, it's going to be the 6/49 for open water fishing when it melts.

:scared0015::scared0015::scared0015: Sounds like we blew your hot dog stand just in time!! made it home safe, sound, and snowless. Though we have ankle deep mud everywhere. LOL

I understand. Tried to sneak across the stubble last week to a gopher patch. Stuck to the running boards. Never even cussed, just walked home for the tractor. That's how bad it is...........

With mud comes greenery. Glad you made it home safe and sound. Long haul from here to there but once you get past the hiway hooo dooos your good.

I got the 4WD tractor stuck. Snow, not mud.

BlackHeart 04-10-2018 10:17 PM

Water pooled up against /by my double garage door and then when it got cold froze. All this stupid melt it off the roof and then go to -23c.
So I have two vehicles locked up by 4” of ice by this stupid weather. (It’s a longer story involving a new metal roof)

Carbon tax....Global warming...my adze.

That's a great line.

We still have 8 feet of frost, so no worries about getting stuck.

That happened to me once in my garage, huge melt over a week then a quick freeze, went out to the garage and ice was half way up the mustang rims! (Old garage with dirt floor). Not a darn thing I could do until it warmed up and melted, wish I had gotten pictures.

We haven't really had alot of snow in Edmonton this year. Think Calgary got more?

Spoke with mom today, western Newfoundland had another good dump during a storm yesterday. But as a bonus, the rivers should be higher for salmon to run. Wish I could be home for it.

You have to Norwest Alta up... after all are we mice or are we Canadians? (joking)

jstubbs 04-10-2018 11:42 PM

Just be glad you're not a golfer. The local course by my place doesn't even look like they've had a chance to even remotely start getting the course ready. Greens still barricaded and everything. It was open on April 15th last year. At this rate, they'll be lucky to be open by mid May.

Little red riding hood 04-11-2018 12:04 AM

Gonna be some skinny bears this spring! Maybe we should follow suit and hibernate for a few weeks!

By gawd it works. Feel much better once I blamed him. Wish I would of done this earlier. Bring on the snow now that I whose fault it is. Lol

BuckCuller 04-11-2018 07:58 AM

Doesn’t bother me.

I was hoping for a couple more feet of snow out east to fill the duck ponds.
Getting too late now. Guess I’m outta luck.

bobtodrick 04-11-2018 08:14 AM

Perspective man.
I was complaining about the weather last week.
I've friends near Humboldt...I'm not complaining any more.

Yes true enough. Could be much worse for sure.

Don_Parsons 04-11-2018 08:56 AM

I took the ATV out West yesterday, South West facing hills are good to go.

Some areas have 3' to 4' of snow pack.

Just heading to Southern BC to go fishing, long range shooting, and Trad archery.

Get a chance to explore some trails out there to.

antlercarver 04-11-2018 09:02 AM
