Where to buy an aftermarket trigger??

I am looking for a replacement trigger for my Remington 700. I'm thinking of getting a Timney or Rifle Basix. Where is a good place to order or pick one up? Ordered my last Rifle Basix directly on line but the exchange rate was much better back then. Thanks for your suggestions.

Trigger Tech makes a really great R700 replacement. Steve and Shane from EM Precision in Spruce Grove have them in stock. Look them up on FaceBook.

Western gun parts is a timney dealer, but I would consider a trigger tech as suggested. I’m not sure if WGP deals trigger tech or not.

Neerlandia co-op has Triggertech triggers and they ship. Ask for Brent.

Mysticpercision.com I purchased a timney for my 700 from Jerry just a few months ago. He said me can get in any brand if you can get a part number email him he’s usually pretty quick with responding.

Timney or TriggerTech?

So I am now deciding between a TriggerTech or Timney I think.
This is for my new main hunting rifle. I am located in Calgary.

So thoughts on both triggers and where to get one?
Thanks !

High River, Flys Etc. They have TriggerTech triggers. And they're great guys to deal with.

Trigger Tech was recommended to me by Rod Henrickson.
I’m not sure what I am going to do yet. Probably wait until next year.
This was my first correspondence with Rod.
He seemed very knowledgeable and was quick to reply to my questions and offered good advice. I’ll be definetly getting ahold of him again once I am ready to proceed.

I have both and you really can't go wrong with either. If I was looking for a trigger today I would likely go to the Trigger Tech but can't give you a good technical reason for the choice. I like the one that I have and wish I'd bought a few more while they were a cheaper option. They’ve come up in price now to be comparable with the others.

I've put 2 Rifle Basix triggers in Marlin rimfires, and bought them direct from RB. They shipped to Canada with no issues. Great fellow to deal with too.

I wouldn't know the best trigger for a 700, I've never owned one. My RB experience was excellent though. Easy to install too.

I run both the Trigger Tech Diamond and Special in my rifles

In the Edmonton area best selection I have found has been at RPS - Spruce Grove. you can handle all of them and decide for yourself. Whoever does my rifle usually makes recommendations and can get any of them. Dicks gunsmithing in Calgary has been great to deal with as well as a few others. Shop around is the best advice.

i have a Timney Calvin Elite on one of my rifles as well as a couple of Trigger tech's. IMO buy once and cry once get a Timney and don't look back. i picked mine up from ATRS in Calgary.
