I must say I enjoyed watching the vids :) Those marketers know their audience...

Other than the ability to sight fish and having a nearly 360 degree casting radius, they're not too practical for Alberta waters IMHO. You'd get blown around a lake at will, and anchoring ability is probably not great. You could cover water just as effectively in a canoe or jon boat.

But, if it got more gals like on the vids into the sport then, heck, who am I to judge?
