Favorite Books on Reloading
 

Whats your most informative reloading Book/manual? From making your own cast bullets, to Hunting dangerous game in Africa, load development and testing, Trouble shooting Rifles, does and don'ts etc etc.
I'll start, The complete Book of Practical Handloading By John Wooters (1976 ), and P.O. Ackley, I guess I couldn't just pick one!

My latest fascinating reloading book - bought at the Calgary Gun Show.
SHOOTING THE BRITISH DOUBLE RIFLE, A Modern Guide for Load Development and Use, by Graeme Wright (An Aussie of wisdom and precision)
I don't have a double rifle, but there is great information about the state of the art in brass, bullets, powders, pressures for heavy rifle calibres.
A serious Good Buy at $45.

For a novice reloader the Speer manual is really tough to beat, it has one of the better introductory sections of all my manuals.

Another one I really like is The Handloader's Manual of Cartridge Conversions by John J Donnelly.

I'll second the fact that I have'nt found a single do it all publication, ever book on my shelf brings something new and interesting to the game.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have copy of Principles and Practice of Reloading Ammunition by Earl Naramore. Only one I've ever seen, 900 pages long and there is nothing, it doesn't cover.

Of the books that I have, Hornady, Speer, Nosler, the Lyman book is one of my favourites.

I have the Speer, Barnes, Sierra, Parker Otto Ackley and 2 Nosler reloading manuals. 28 years I started off with the Nosler manual and it is the one I use the most today. (their latest editions # 5&6). I find it the most informable followed by the Sierra manual. I find that their loads are very true to what they have printed in their manuals.

Barnes, Nosler, Lee, and A-Square. All have something to add. Can never have enough.

The most thorough book is the Reloading Manual by Precision Shooting. It has no data though.

cartridges of the world is a fantastic and informative read.lots of data.

Agreed, I have a copy of the 1st and 7th edition, always an interesting read. have to agree with Dick284 on the speer manual, I started out with #1-8 of the speer books, as well as Nosler 1-4, and Hornady1-4. For cast bullet info, Modern reloading By Richard Lee has alot of good load data!
