Spey Casters In Edmonton
Anyone in the area skillful at this? NSR is low enough that i'd like to get out for some practice. I've got the basic idea of it, but would like to get some actual pointers from someone who knows what they're doing. Tight on funds right now, but could offer a bunch of hand tied flies in return. Have my own equipment in case that matters. 8wt switch, 7/8 spey, 5/6 switch.
If anyone has the time, i'd really appreciate it. Could use a bit of a tune up. Posting here, or PM'ing me would work to get a hold of me. Thanks! |
Wish I would have seen this sooner. I'm not super skilled at it, but been getting better over the last few years...didn't know anybody else really did too much with the spey around Edmonton lol. Maybe next year!

I'm far from what I'd call skillful but I did take a two day class from Chris Sepio on the Bow . I haven't practised much since then but I did have the hang of two casts pretty well, Chris is an excellent teacher.

A buddy showed me your posting a couple of hours ago, so I registered on the forum to respond to you when you were on-line. I'm not sure if you got the messages.
I would be pleased to spey cast with you to help you out or even just practise. I have been pretty avid for about 5 years and have take a few seminars and private lessons on speycasting. Cheers, Snakeroller |
