im hoping somebody can direct me to somebody that makes gloves out of hides ...got a wolf a few weeks ago and i sent him into get tanned...cant find much online..preferably in the edmonton area...thanks

Nice idea. I picked my lady up a pair of seal hide mittens this past winter up north. Unfortunately they are not tanned (not a common practice with the Inuit from what I understand,) so she has to store them in the deep freezer when she isn't using them. haha.

I'm thinking they'd be nice as wolf back/otter or small beaver palms.

Contact Braggadoe on this Forum. His wife makes mittens although I am not sure her sewing machine is fixed yet! They live in Lundbreck but I am sure she can send you pictures. They are very nice. They were big sellers at our fundraiser last year. :)

How did you make out, 1BowHunter12? Were you able to find someone to do it for you?
