Yup, I think any fisherman who ever fishes the areas that are planned to be closed this next 5 years should be reading this. More importantly, those in charge of these plans with the AEP should absolutely be reading this, but sadly I doubt they have given it any time of day.

It's good, at least, to have seen them reconsider their idea of opening parts of the South Ram to harvest. To me, that oversight really proved the lack of historical research and proper consultation on the part of the AEP in formulating this whole recovery plan. Can't imagine how defeating this must feel for a guy like Dave Jensen.

It seems all user groups are willing to work WITH government and AEP, ohv users, campers, anglers, hunters and so on... to find a balance for all of us to enjoy our pursuits. Yet our government seems to refuse to listen. Outdoorsmen are stewards of the land and want to conserve these resources to enjoy for years to come.

Well said, it's time to take down the fences and get together or all groups will continue to lose.
