Hey guys,

Just left the lake and theres some rodent we've never seen before digging holes under everyones cabin. It looked about 14 inches long, fat body, and a tail about have his body size, looks like a beaver head with bush bunny colors. Any ideas? area is north of boyle

Just found a picture, it was a groundhog, suggestions to get rid of it?

Google groundhog or woodchuck. As far as I know they are the same thing. See if the picture is what you are seeing. I have a cottage in north west Saskatchewan and have groundhogs living under my shop. I enjoy seeing them.

Well, this is a long shot..but if you want it gone (as in moved out instead of taking a dirt nap), visit a local pet store that sells ferrets and ask them (with a crazy look on your face) for a garbage bag of ferret crap and urine soaked litter... Spread it around your place or the holes..

I'm guessing the rodents will move along willingly instead of tangling with a 'weasel' that has 'mysteriously moved in'.

I know, call me crazy:)

Grew up with them around my home town. Used to shoot them with .22 on farmer fields.
