Fly fishing for pike

Hey just wondering if anyone is willing to share a spot that is easy for pike on the fly as I am new to the pike game. I’ve caught quite a few trout and mountain whitefish but thought I’d give pike a try. Hoping to keep it within an 2 hours of edmonton.
Thanks

What do you have access to fish from...shore, boat or tube?

I have access to a kayak as of right now hopefully a boat soon. And thanks, gonna have to try it at wabamun, just wasn’t sure if it was gonna be too deep to get my fly down.

From season opener to about mid or end of June, pike will tend to hang out in less than 3m of water.

The concern would be having a rod that is big enough to cast a pike fly. A 6wt is too light.

Most of Wabamun is fairly shallow except maybe in the Fallis area which I haven't fished yet. We work bunny streamers with sink tip lines in 8 to 14 ft of water in the eastern end. Most of the pike are small hammer handles but if you find the right place there will be lots of walleye taking the same kind of fly.

Caught lots of pike on a 6wt and 3-5" flies. Maybe you don't get the 20+lbers, but it still lots of fun

Try clear lake.
Lots of areas to wade also, but best with a boat Remember, if the wind blows an electric motor is useless on clear lake.
