floating worms?

When I fish for rainbow I have been using a slip weight and then I tie a hook and 2 feet of line after that. How do I get my bait to float? The worms sink, I tried putting on MArshmellows first but they aways slip off the hook!

Fill with air .. just pump them up

As mentioned before fill it with air.

You can buy a little bottle with a needle on the end that is made for blowing up worms at pretty much any tackle shop.

what type of hook are you using and what type of line? try 4lb test between the weight and hook with a (forgot the hook company name, argh) lighter diameter hook.

So your set up would be;
Your mainline>slipweight>tiny stopper/swivel>4lb test mono>hook

I'm using just a regular small bait hook. Can you blow up a worm after you rip it in half?

if you are using a piece of worm go the other way use a bobber and 6 to 8 ft line and a split shot small, 8 inches above hook .:thinking-006:
