Calhoun bay boat launch

Does anyone know if Calhoun Bay boat launch at South Buck is in good shape this year? I know last year it was pretty much closed for any boats with any size to them.

I heard the canal is now shutdown/off limits. My buddy stayed there this weekend. I'll ask him about it at work tomorrow.

He said still using the channel. Said about a 17-18 foot boat with a 115 on it went from launch, up the channel and out into the lake.... Lots of 44-48cm walleye as per usual, never got one over 50.

we were out on saturday and caught over 60 walleye not one of those over 50 cm , and the pike were skinny. never seen a perch or whitefish .

Calhoun Bay boat launch is close, hand launch only.
