Fundraiser Entertainment Needed...
 

Any suggestions for a band or some form of entertainment that we can hire for our South Country Trappers' fundraiser on September 30 in Pincher Creek? The audience is mainly outdoorsmen/ranchers. While we know a well-known group will attract people, we can't afford to pay thousands as this is our one fundraiser for the year. We make our money from the auctions and the gun raffle. Thanks! :)

P.S. I have emailed Ben Crane (whom we had before, and he was great) and contacted the Wardens, but they are busy (and expensive!!). John Wort Hannam was suggested...has anyone heard him live?

Some friends had Shred Kelly at their wedding a couple of years ago. They are out Fernie, BC.

Folk music, but they are simply awesome. And very engaging with the audience.

Richard and Deborah Popowich. You also can get just Richard. They have a few different acts.

If you have been on the Stettler steam train you have seen them. Really nice people and awesome entertainers.

We get the guys from Southern Alberta Livestock to do our live auctions. They are excellent, funny, and good looking, too! :)

Speaking from experience, I totally agree with Ken. My wife has had Danny for all three of her functions and she would have never had the success she did without him as MC/Auctioneer.

Danny Hooper is a stand up guy, have had the privilege of working with him on a few charity auctions. He knows how to read a crowd like no other.
