Jamaica fly fishing
 

Hey all just wondering if anyone has any personal experiences on fishing the island ? I’ll be there in a week any tips are much appreciated I’ll be in runaway bay to be exact thx all!!! Tight lines

just got back
 

I was in the Runaway Bay area Apr 1-5 (Melia Braco village) to be exact. I brought along my fly-rod and threw a couple of casts from the beach/jetty every morning. On the 2nd morning I caught what I believe was a 'blue runner' in the Jack family.

I was using my floating line and a crazy charlie, but if fishing from a jetty I would recommend a sinking line

Just got back and did alright..... caught some small cuda and jacks ... clousers worked best for me !! Being home sucks !!!!
