so iv'e fished the nsr every day this week and though the bite has been producing double digit counts every night haven't landed a big one till this evening. 28" 6lbs range (not that chunky)
we have been catching lots of sauger and saugeye this week. the pics. posted are a saugeye. i'm told that the white tip on the tail is what makes it a saugeye. |
Cool - on my bucket list - a saugeye.

Nice fish! Congrats

That's a nice one
Nice, congrats.
thats sweet ninja i know ive gotten saugers but never a saugeye
First pic looks like a plain old walleye. Are the rest of the pics(the ones with spotted dorsel) of the same fish as the first pic?
Pretty pronounced white tip for a saugeye on the first pic. Was there spots on the dorsal? Im sayin walter. Pretty large as well.
