I would have to ask where did your dad live area wise and how many bait shops near by in the 60's you could narrow it down good luck :)

He lived in Edmonton his whole life and the family lived in the John Walter house for several years. He learned to tie in a club back then but don’t know much else.

These could have been flies that were made for Sask. River as he lived along that river .
