Trappers in the making
I always enjoy the company of grandkids when checking snares and today was no exception ..picked up 2 nice coyotes and they helped me set 4 new snares ..very excited when they found we had caught these coyotes , think they are hooked ..lol.

Nice job grandpa. I met a trapper by chance through work circles. Turns out he traps the northern wmu I have hunted for over 20 years. I have a new friend and when we ran into him sledding last year, he had a grandkid in tow.
Got directions to his cabin beside a river and in the middle of nowhere and stopped in on our way back to our trucks. He said his grandkids are lining up to get a chance to go to the trap line. Don't get much better than that. |
