Marty help

Ok so got all my stuff and watched several different videos and half put trigger facing one way and half put it the other so what's best in your opinion? Yes I know you've prob said it a million times but I need reassurance before I make a pile. So trigger facing end stop or trigger facing cam lock?.

I put them trigger facing camlock cuz I've had them hang up on the end stop ..but that's just me

Any and all experiences are appreciated thanks

I always point trigger away from snare. I use 100% magnums and I have zero hang ups.

Smaller springs can hang but I still ran them pointing away. Pointing toward is ZERO fun in many ways. It was a rare problem, but a very insignificant fraction of a percentage were ever affected.

Point trigger away from loop/lock.

Clip trigger in 10 o’clock position on spring-wire end side of spring loop. This is also refered to as the “dead side” of the loop end.

The loop will flex slightly and aid in positive firing.

Very simple... a child could do it!

Well I've caught about 30 coyotes so far using the magnum springs and trigger which I know ain't much but other than one that the spring came off the cable I'm very impressed with the results. They kill every bit if not better than power rams. And way better than the amberg system.

I too have become a fan of the magnum springs ., snare closes faster and lots more crunch :budo:

A bit off topic but just got the International Trapper magazine and there was an informative interview with Marty about his introduction to trapping as well as some of his contributions to the trapping industry. In the article he gives good info in regards to snaring and how to use his springs. Congratulations and keep up the good work, Martin.
