Floating the Bow

I understand McKinnon just opened today. How is the hill? Is this a good time to float from Policeman to McKinnon? Thinking of scheduling a float in the next couple of weeks and looking for advise from more experienced Bow River floaters. Thank you in advance!

A majority of the mature rainbows have probably left the river to spawn so the catch rates will be less than expected

FYI,

I took a drive down to Mckinnon this morning because the sign said it opened on the 15th and found out that it is still locked and barricaded.

Always keep in mind there`s more to fishin than catching fish and you will be fine..... although it does not hurt.....great time of year to float.... or walk the flats looking for tailers
