Passing through Lesser Slave Lake and want to get a limit of walleye without a boat. Drive to the run out of Lesser Slave Lake you can drive down either side, cast out a walleye rig with a couple of fat minnows,it wont take long.Until a few years ago the limit was 3 over 50cm, sometimes you would have to release a dozen or so to get the three. This is a great place for family fishing, the whole gang shoulder to shoulder hauling in fish, tim hortons just up the road. Down the road parks with beautiful long sandy beaches. Drive up the mountain to hike in lily lake for a good trout fry.
