Headed to CVR

Hey gang

Headed to CVR with the boat today...

How's the fishing been? Any tips or advice? Spots to try?
I have been only a few times with the boat so still trying to master this lake:sHa_sarcasticlol:

Thanks:)

Trust your sonar. Try bottom bouncing. I've caught my 2 biggest on that lake right off the boat launch dock. Why'd I buy a 28,000 dollar boat?

I was out on Monday bottom bouncing with spinners and dew worms and did good ! Nothing bigger than 50 cm for walleye and only 3 pike. All released !

All the places I took you last winter.

2 anglers, 30+ fish, 8 were Pike including a beaut that was around 16lbs...25ish FOW, 3 way rig with a 2oz sinker and crankbait, Scatter Rap, Flat Rap and Thunderstick's were all we used! Seeing 1 or 2 fish on the sonar on the bottom then getting hit 5 seconds later really cool!!

Caught this one for supper and released a dozen or more.. The bite was definitely on but no Wallies on the day. Z

Never got to our West spots....We only fished the East side all the way up to the North end of the lake...
