Hi all,

Looking for some input on Hornady's ELD-X line of bullets. I have heard good and bad about them. The bad being close range expansion being next to nothing. The two options I am considering are the ELD-X or the LRAB. Have heard much better reviews on the LRAB for close range expansion and effectiveness.

Having never loaded them before I'm looking for your in the field results and opinions. Before anyone starts asking the range I'm shooting, it could be anywhere from 100-600 yards depending on the situation. You never quite know when a opprutunity is going to present itself.

That being said, what bullet from your experience would be most effective throughout the given range?

Not looking for opinions of how I am hunting or range I should choose. I know how my rifle shoots no matter of condition. Looking for field tested results to help me make my selection.
