Has anybody ever fished rock lake?? Or have any info on it?? TIA

Rock Lake outside Brooks?

If its Rock lake west of Hinton, the last time I checked the lake is closed for ice fishing !

Lots of pike mostly smalls. About eight shacks on West end by canal. People are driving on.

Yes sorry the one west of Hinton, I thought it was open, I will have to check again, they say there is lake trout in there..........any one ever have any luck.

Went out there years ago to ice fish it. when I got there found out the lake is closed because the ice is not safe because of air pockets and under water currents.

Did go back last year with boat in summer, only my boat on the lake during the week.
a lot of lakers on the sonar following my down rigger hook but they would not bite. No bait allowed

Cold lake is still the best .

I've caught a bunch of small lakers (30cm) in the summer time a few years back on spoons from shore.
