I continue to be facinated by how these guys are monitizing the fringe. It was only a couple years ago that Alex Jones was at the vanguard selling his bone broth and tactical taint wipes. He at least was allegedly providing some value but seems to me like the QAnon “thought leaders” have really pushed us into a new paradigm. These guys don’t even pretend, it’s just misleading video with nothing added but a logo at the beginning and a profile full of send me money links, they even list them before twitter and their web address.

Just finished reading PM Stephen Harper’s book “Right here, right now”. Really well written story of the last 150 years or so, and how we got to where we are, the cause and rise of populism and where it’s taking us. Why the powers that be are going balls to the wall to control normal people. Highly recommended read.

The next conservative government will undo this crap. I just hope it will be this coming fall and not another 4 years..

Agree, I read it a month or so ago, and it is very well written and insightful. He is a very intelligent man, and I gained a great deal of understanding from the book. I even changed my mind about a thing or two that in the past I was strongly opinionated on.

Why do you even try?

Keyboard warriors uses this tactic to change the narrative when you criticize something that they identify with.

He/she/Sie may be in a university course where this sort of thing is encouraged, or may be paid by a communications firm to do this as piece work.

Seriuosly it should go without saying you are entitled to hold whatever opinion strikes your fancy. Do keep in mind however, it’s reasonable to expect when sharing that poorly considered opinion you might find someone points out the shaky foundation it’s built on. This stuff you keep posting is absurd trash that has a corrosive effect on proper discourse, leading to a breakdown of our political process If you like it then that’s fine but I’m still gonna tell you it’s trash.

I keep noticing that these "town hall" events seem to always place the diverse university students front and center and that all of these university students seem to have the same glazed over look in their eyes and hive mind that seems to act as a singular consciousness everytime someone goes off script and threatens their safe space...are they being paid or just PREPROGRAMMED?
