Anybody fish BICR

I fished it on the 9th and was skunked there for the first time in my life. My dad caught two tigers. Saw a ton of nice fish on the camera (big rainbows, browns and brookies). I had a big brookie on, but lost it shortly after setting the hook.

What were you using, have never fished it and am thinking about heading there this weekend.

Everything under the sun. Tungstens with mealies, shrimp, powerbait, etc. Small jigging raps, rippin raps, etc.

It's a great lake, and you'll likely catch fish. It's generally slower towards the end of the season. Keep in mind that it's going to be nearly 20 degrees Celsius during the week.

I almost needed an extension on the 9th, but that was before the warm weather had arrived. I don't think you'll have an issue with safe ice for walking, but I do think it'll be a slushy mess. The access to the lake is off a paved highway, so that helps. The gravel road that runs around the lake is generally pretty well maintained.

We were out there today. Absolutely terrible. 5 people fishing plus some locals out. No one caught anything. Ice was 32 inches thick.

How does it fish in the summer
