Dave aka Mudbug is on the heal, after heart attack! Thank you everyone!

Dave's Sister just called me, Dave suffered a heart attack today. He is in the Sturgeon, St Albert. He got in fast enough, that they were able to get the drugs in, hopefully damage is minimal.

Can we take up a collection and get some flowers over to our buddy?

Anyone?

rwm1273 11-13-2012 10:40 PM

I'm in for $20. Who will be taking up the collection?

bigbuck19 11-13-2012 10:42 PM

I will be in Camrose all day for a funeral.. if anyone in the strathcona area is collecting flowers PM me and I would be happy to give some flowers or money for flowers to bring to the hospital. In my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Kanonfodder 11-13-2012 10:42 PM

There must be a story behind this?

My first thought when you said a huge bunny, was a playboy bunny, but I don't know him other than by some posts, so that may not necessarily be in good taste.

Kanonfodder 11-13-2012 10:50 PM

He had a giant bunny as a pet who passed awhile back..she was huge

sureshot 11-13-2012 10:55 PM

I'm in for 20.

Many in here regarded 'Lola' as being the unofficial mascot for AO. I bet he would love a buddy while sequestered.

rwm1273 11-13-2012 11:02 PM

We are already at $100. Is there anyone who can take up the collection?

Ken07AOVette 11-13-2012 11:15 PM

If nothing else we can call a flowerstore with visa numbers

It would be nice if someone from the board delivered but take what we can get

Albertadiver 11-13-2012 11:17 PM

Wow. Very sorry to hear this. I'm in for a 40 emt.

silverdoctor 11-13-2012 11:17 PM

I'll throw in $20 and get it all delivered for you. Where the heck do I find a big stuffed rabbit? I'm in SE Edmonton.

Sure, pm away, i'll warn you tho, my handwriting sucks.
Hoping someone else can pick out the flowers, i'm single, never married. Don't know what people like. Let me check to see what flower shops are around.

I'll throw my donation on the rabbit, see if I can find one.

i'll need Dave's last name and room number if possible.

No, if you can let us know which place tomorrow I will call with my donation, we can likely all do the same.

I am hoping we can do this early tomorrow morning, I am sure there is a store that will deliver.

Folks, while your sentiments are in the right place, if he is in ccu, you will NOT be able to take him flowers. They also restrict visitors to immediate family.

I know this because I went through it 4 years ago with my hubby.

Maybe take the flowers and bunny to him when he gets home.
