Hey folks, here is a link to a trip report I posted from my weekend trip.

Very cool!
Is there really an issue with porcupines stealing bikes?:)

I used to go up to Fryatt every year for my birthday in April. We would wade across the river, bike up to the first campsite, and hike/ski to the hut. At other times of the year, we would use canoes to cross the river in order to eliminate the 5km section at the start. I'm not sure if the trail crew is planning to get to it or not, but I'm sure Loni or Dieter will see that it gets taken care of.:happy0180:

Great trip report, thanks for posting!

I hate how the ACC climbers and offical groups seem to always "take over" the huts when they are there - if they want exclusive use of the huts, then they need to book the entire hut!!

Cheers,

P

Thanks for the report. I hadn't been up that trail in many a year, and you brought back some memories. May have to put it back on my list of things to do.

Big Bull.. I didn't realize you know Dieter as well, very cool. He's a great guy and I enjoy getting out with him to do a little uhm! trail work, lol.

Uberfly, actually the climbers were great folks. The two couples that showed up at a 1/4 to 1 in the morning and left so much of their food and crap on the very large table that I had my breakfast outside. I woke Sunday morning to find a half pot of chili in a pot on the stove, a bowl of gratted chedder on the counter as well as all their food stuffs just laying out in the open. They were very lucky that Fryatt Hut is sealed very well from mice!

Ya Don, that valley is so nice and there is quite a bit to explore while you are there.
