Payne Lake
 

Hey everyone,

I'm planning on heading out to Payne lake this Friday-Saturday, and was wondering if anyone had some tips as to where to wet a line while my fiancé and I camp for a couple nights. I'll be fishing from shore, and planning on casting some lures and using some slip sinker rigs with PowerBait or shrimp. Any help is appreciated :)

we were down a couple of weeks ago
fishing is very slow with the heat at the time. only got 2 in two days
worms are a good bet as well
are you tenting or do you have a trailer?

That's too bad! It has been crazy hot down here. We'll be tenting, hopefully the wind isn't too much of a factor.
