Good post. Will avoid these guys like the plaque they are.

tirebob 12-10-2018 11:17 AM

This may be a dumb question, but what sort of proof is there of these companies being "anti-gun"? I only ask because it seems all too common these days for many business, small and large alike, to get unfairly vilified on the internet based solely on the old "I was told by a friend who's brother said he heard from somebody else, etc etc" type stories, and the next thing you know the pitch forks are out and nobody really knows what's what...

Now this list could be 100% accurate, but to post a thread with nothing backing it up seems a bit pitchforky...

I don't think my pro gun stance is strong enough that I'm not going to watch The Mule, The Crimes of Grindelwald, 12 Strong, Dunkirk, Shazam! etc. because apparently Warner Bros. is anti-gun.

Rest assured though, I will not be supporting the American Bar Association, League of Women Voters of the United States, or Bank of America. My resolve is a solid 90%!

mooseknuckle 12-10-2018 11:28 AM

Lol, yeah sorry. Im not giving up HBO, or Costco. And my levis arent going anywhere

Good stuff. I had dropped Sears because of there unfortunate propaganda. I’m not totally sure that I brought them down singlehandedly though...
Ford Foundation isn’t part of Ford Motors -but they are funding a bunch of BS ‘causes.’ Makes me wonder about them.

Costco sells gun safes dont they? So how can they be anti gun?

You can add MEC to the list.
While you add it you can add The Fath Group. I know this from personal experience.

LOL. Yeah? I should know that considering that's where I bought my GUN safe.

I agree. Seems odd to classify as "anti gun" on the basis of something on internet. I have made many transactions with dicks gun store and although they continue to sell guns they have gone public that they will not sell firearms to people under 21 years of age and will not sell what is commonly considered "assault rifles" by the media. To me that is a business decision that some may like and some my view as antigun but the fact remains they still sell many shotguns and rifles to the hunting crowds. Maybe it is not fair to jump on the black rifle bandwagon but they made a decision and have stuck with it.
Certainly would not consider that anti gun.

That says everything you need to know about this post.

If you are thinking FOX isn't propaganda (on the opposite side of the spectrum) you might as well add Breitbart, Infowars and the Rebel to your "must watch" list as well .....lol.

Wall Street Journal, AP, BBC, Reuters are pretty much the only news I'd even consider somewhat neutral and worth watching these days.

And they sell ghillie suits, camo and gun cases, pretty sure 711 still sells gun mags as well, all these people who claim to be on this side or that are all Hippocrates!

The Guardian is doing some good work these days too.

I would like to see some actual information confirming each companies stance on firearms, before condemning them as anti firearm. I did a search on Costco, and the issue with them is from the USA where they don't allow citizens to carry firearms into their stores. I see nothing where they are campaigning against firearms, or for more restrictions.

If its on the web, it must be true. Don't let common sense get in the way.

They are on the list because certain location refuse to sell the AR15. That is what makes me think this list has an associated agenda.

Mec we are all aware supports anti hunting organizations which in turn are anti gun.

This is from a PM I sent another member regarding the Fath group.

Quote:

I brought in a rifle stock to sand and refinish. I used my own tools and supplies during my lunch breaks. Even though I made it quite clear the stock was nothing more than a piece of wood a letter was sent out stating that absolutely no one was to bring any firearms, ammunition, firearms parts or accessories onto any fath group properties or they would be terminated immediately. We were also required to sign a form stating we had received the letter or our employment would be terminated immediately.

KegRiver 12-11-2018 10:56 AM

Better add Canada customs to that list.

Oh yeah, and citizenship and immigration. Bet you wouldn't get away with taking a firearm onto any of their property's.

Banks too. And how about those nasty anti hunting schools. Better not be taking no guns into any schools these days.

Fact is there are a lot of reasons one institution or another may have a no guns policy that has nothing to do with them being anti gun.

I bet I could find hunters working in most offices in most companies and institutions that have anti gun or what appears to be anti gun policies.

I hate bandwagons.

Years ago they were called lynch mobs. That's a more accurate term for them.

Seems to me that we need to clean up our act before worrying about what others are doing or not doing.

last minute 12-11-2018 11:20 AM

EBay???? Don't they still sell gun parts etc.i will have to go check.

elkhunter11 12-11-2018 11:27 AM

I don't see Paypal on that list, and they are most definitely anti firearm.
