canmore area - open water
 

hi all,

FYI, grotto pond has quite a bit of open water on one side of the lake, as does gap lake. Anyone know when they usually freeze over completely?

Grotto will get solid but Gap might have open water all year , I have spent a lot of time on Gap You will need a good amount of conviction if you are going to fish that lake. It takes some patience and work to land fish out of there
