Does sibbald pond winterkill? is there any ponds around here that don't friggin winterkill? :x

Baitfisher83 05-11-2007 07:34 PM

i wouldn't count on that, seems no one knows how to dig a real hole anymore....

Christofficer 05-11-2007 07:38 PM

They need to make these ponds bigger and deeper so they can stock more fish. perhaps put in an aerator if they can't dig deeper.

Yeah but that would be smart and they'd find a way to tax us for it...like the outdoorsmen don't py enough here already...

I'd pay extra to have a pond close to home that doesn't get fished out or winterkill.

lol no kidding, it's too bad that there isnt one in town that isnt so highly accessed, i'll never be able to live in an area with it;s own lake<chapparal for example>, i havent fished there since i was 14...

Sibbald doesn't winterkill. Was there yesterday. About 10 other folks were fishing. I saw only one other person catch anything, a small cutt. I caught three in about 4 hours (with a short BBQ break)
