Wonder what caliber LVPD uses? Probably something with more punch than a 9mm judging by video?

I would think that shooting through ones own windshield is a last resort- the glass particles and noise could be debilitating to the officer.

A roof mounted turret with a helmet like on the AH-64 Apache would mitigate the noise aspect better though. Perhaps one in 5.56 or 7.62 instead of 30mm?:thinking-006:

All I could find..so it's one of either 9mm, .40 or .45..
My guess though is .40 caliber.
