I will call 52 seats for the UCP. Comfortable majority. The leftwing media been working hard to slam Dani. She's given them ammo too. In this gotcha intense world, she's run a pretty decent campaign. Maybe I'm wrong, but the media ain't easy on her.

57 seats ucp , edmonton is orange , no alberta party and pray that notley resigns .

Smokinyotes 05-29-2023 04:26 PM

If there are any orange seats at all it’s too many.

There will be plenty in Redmonton. I am going with 50 seats for the UCP.

Twisted Canuck 05-29-2023 05:31 PM

I’ll bet a 26 of Alberta Premium, that the UCP get a slim(~10 seat majority)

bessiedog 05-29-2023 05:46 PM

Done!

We have a gentlemen’s wager good sir!

Let’s hope I don’t pull a Biden.

54 seats min for UCP. 338 figures 52:

https://338canada.com/alberta/

Edmonton will be an orange island per usual.

Armorman 05-29-2023 06:32 PM

Closer than y'all think. Urbanites have been dumbed down enough to ensure Rachel stands a fighting chance. The times are changing. Sadly Alberta isn't "Alberta" anymore.

Yeah but Notley identifies as a Jagmeat, ...so bad guess...hehe...:)

amosfella 05-29-2023 06:38 PM

Write in for Trump.

Sooner 05-29-2023 06:42 PM

I know what poll after poll has said but I think whoever wins tonite, gets a solid majority. The battle lines were drawn well before the writ was dropped. It will be which side got their support to the ballot box. I think Dani/UCP will do better than expected and surprise some in Calgary.

Please Please no more Shannon after tonite.

buckman 05-29-2023 06:43 PM

Smith will win,10 seat majority perhaps.I give her 6 months as premier then she's toast.Travis Towes( SP) should be enticed back at that time.

Trochu 05-29-2023 06:46 PM

UCP Majority.

dgl1948 05-29-2023 06:50 PM

If NDP win Jagmet will stop supporting Trudeau and a federal election will be called.

Hoping so !!

I saw what the NDP did to Alberta when they were governing, and I see daily what the NDP has done to B.C. So hoping for the UCP majority.

CBintheNorth 05-29-2023 07:08 PM

I'm going to say Danielle picks up 1 seat more than Kenney, as Rachel's smear campaign backfires.
64 seats to the UCP.

bessiedog 05-29-2023 07:25 PM

Sorry bud

I just made a wager and I think I better leave it at one.

Last time I fleeced people during the Trump election I wasn’t too popular ……

Bushrat 05-29-2023 07:27 PM

Will be interesting, the media has been basically saying its too close to call. We will see if they've been boosting for a NDP win or if they been misleading trying to sway undecided voters to join the NDP bandwagon.

More like he will demand more from Trudeau, for delivering Alberta to Trudeau.

There is no way this is going to happen, IMO.

Disagree
Whoever wins will have a majority, because only 2 parties will get in
Probably UCP majority, because this election is voting for the lesser of the two evils for a lot of people.

waldedw 05-29-2023 08:47 PM

Well I'll find out in the morning for better or worse, had dental surgery today and I'm beat, pain killer and bed :thinking-006:
