Rapala Nitro 43cc auger parts

Dicked over the auger at gull today. froze into the ice and broke the Damn blade right to the shaft. Ultra chapped. Tripped walking it with it and broke the air filter assembly. Double chapped. Can't find any parts online. Anyone have any ideas here?

averagejoe 02-28-2015 06:30 PM

From what I can find it is a rebranded Eskimo Viper auger.

Another source said Please call Normark directly for assistance at 1-905-571-3001

Thanks allot. Pretty rattled about that

How long have you had it?
Call Normark and ask them, they should be able to help you out.
Good luck

rena0040 02-28-2015 09:08 PM

You can use eskimo blades. My first outing with mine I ran it into some gravel:sign0161:. Picked up eskimo replacemment blades and cuts like new

Brandon5555 02-28-2015 09:35 PM

It's not the blades though it's part of the auger broken up to the shaft

Brothers two small engines inc in Calgary will have parts or will be able to order them. I have the same auger and just got a new pull cord piece for mine. They were really helpful and changed it while I stood there so I could get back out fishing.

Brandon5555 03-01-2015 04:07 PM

That's awesome thanks allot. Hopefully it's not too pricey

averagejoe 03-01-2015 07:23 PM

Oh wow, you really pulled a number on that one. Unless they take pity and let you warranty it you will have to buy a new auger shaft.

They should have parts for the air filter cover.

The eskimo branded parts are available here http://www.geteskimo.com/Foundations...sp?category=62

8" auger shaft appears to be $150 US plus shipping. Better to give them a call first before ordering parts locally.

For that kind of money you may as well spend another $20 and get the 10" bit.

Brandon5555 03-01-2015 10:06 PM

But will the 43cc still turn a 10 inch bit?

The Eskimo Mako with the same 43cc Viper motor is available with the 10" bit, so yeah, it should be fine :)
