Marmish hooks

Out of all the marmish hooks what would you pick. Barley, banana, apple seed, or beak.

none of them... Salmo Chubbies slay all

I only carry this hook in my tackle box. I have tried ALL of the marmish lures and this one was custom built from a sample from marmish lures in edmonton. This one out performs all of the tackle from marmish.
Cheers :D

I lost the sample they gave me, never did try it, I like white wireworms for perch with gulp maggots

Hey Wayne, do you use the glow Gulp Maggots?

Tried one for a little bit yesterday...couple halfhearted hits, but nothing iced using it.

I gotta find me one of those little UV pen lights to charge 'em up I think :D

I just use the plain white maggots, usually break them in half too on the wireworm, the rainbows seem to like them a lot too.

Hmm...okay. The only ones Cambodian Tire out here had were the glow ones, so that's what I got :) They're definitely bigger than 'for real' maggots, so maybe I'll try chopping 'em in half next time as well :)

picked up one of those UV penlights, they work great

Where'd you get it?

I remember seeing a pack of Blue Fox glow spoons that came with the pen light at CT back at home...I'm hoping I can find the same thing at the CT here in Lloyd. Don't really have a use for the spoons with the fish I've been going for this hardwater season, but I want that pen light!

I picked up a uv light at the fishn hole (97st) on thurs and wow! no joke it works awesome actually makes the glow hooks look radioactive. Wasn't cheap $35.00 well worth it though as long as I don't lose it or better yet drop it in the hole!

wholesale sports has them(I bought mine in grande prairie) in the fly fishing section.(the light was 11 bucks alone, or they had it in a wader repair kit($19.99 I believe)
Works great on the glow jigs.

bought mine with the lure making stuff I ordered, along with a sampler of super glow paint, it was pretty cheap . paint is supposed to glow for up to 10 hours if you charge it for 10 minutes
