Lund 1775 pro v
I am looking for a new boat this spring and I was down at the Lund dealer and was looking at the Lund pro V 1775 with a 150hp honda. Is this boat too big for the lakes around edmonton or should I get a little smaller boat ??

What do you want the boat for? |
Lund 1775 pro v
Its 75 percent fishing boat and 25 percent puling kids on a tube
|
Looks Like a good choice to me

had one just like that, you will be pleased with the performance and the way it handles the water. It will pull tubers and skiers very well:)

I am sure you know this already; The Tyee does come with a ski pole and is only 3 inches longer. Perhaps a bit better family boat but not quite as good a fishing boat. The reason I mention the ski pole is in case you get a mounted kicker etc back there. The pole holds the tow ropes up out of the way.
Enjoy the new toy and leave a couple fish in the lake for the rest of us. |
The boat in the showroom at Riverside is the one you are talking about I assume.....
That's a buety and will have lots of power and the price is spectacular. Great choice ..... |
I have a 20' aluminum and i can get on and off most lakes.

Froggy,
Both Slingshot and I purchased a Tyee from Corrie at Riverside - she is a nice lady and gave us both a great deal ....... 4-5 more guys are working on a deal with her now .... PM me if you are seriously interested in making a move on a boat ...... we seem to be getting some "volume discounts" and a few other nice deals on electronics or after market stuff. |
Looking for something similar, have been prowling used boats, havent gone to look at anything new yet. Waiting on the tax man. Budget is about 25000. Definately steering towards a Lund though. What are the 1775's going for roughly?

I've run lunds from 12 feet 24 and everything in between, currently running a 1875 tournament series with a 200, I had it out here lat summer and had no trouble putting in at the lakes I went too. I like the new crossover and will probably get one of them this year or next, they look like they will be a great all around rig and for the price on them you can't beat it!
To answer your question that boat will be perfect size for here Bennett |

The Mercury 4 stroke 115, will be around $1500 less. Plenty of power using the max hp @115. You can quite easily move down to the 90 hp models of the same motors and end up right on budget ...... |
