Gull lake Summer/Fall Whitefish

Would like to target some whitefish on gull open water. Any suggestions, depth, wire worm, fly? Thx

I'll look for any updates as well. I've tried Gull a couple of times in the past and got my butt handed to me. Great winter fishery for me but I have yet to get a white there in open water.
