I'm not sure when you last went Bush, but I was there lately and went twice. First trip we fished hard all day and only got 15 between two people. Second trip later on we fished hard again all day, past dark and only got 23. Out of all the people we talked to, we did the best. Btw Burbot hunter if you do ever go, there is a crazy amount of tiny hammerhandles... caught more of them than anything.

You should have been there last Monday you must have just teased them enough to make them bite for us.

Very Very slow, from what I heard from more than a few people that I talked to this week. Deffinatly not worth the trip.

Teamprotz 02-18-2012 02:51 PM

Word got out , don't know how that could have happened :thinking-006:, and there has been close to 100 trucks out on weekends !

They have changed the access of the lake because people have been trespassing on a farmers property. I heard 7 people got charged with trespassing
by the rcmp. Some of these people left a mess of garbage and empty beer cans on this guys property. :thinking-006:

There's always got to be one retard to wreck it for everyone else. As far as the word getting out... Its not that big of deal the lake is so far from e-town it won't see the traffic cross lake gets!

I think that was for last summer! we have not had any problems with access! the perch are hit and miss tho! We had one guy in our group pull 10 out last time out in a 5 gallon pail they weighed over 23 pounds!:sHa_shakeshout:

Bazinga44 02-18-2012 04:21 PM

Can anybody verify if the compressor station access has been closed lately?

Trespassing on what farmers property. Looked like crown land bush for many miles as far as I could see.

Went to that lake once in my life this year, It will be the last. To FNNn many people, Thats how lakes get fished out, Once they catch alot they keep going till there cleaned out. Why cant people just go a couple of times and then try other lakes, they need to lower the limit so all you can keep is 5 perch, enough for a meal, If we keep fishing all our lakes like this you all know what the turn out is,

pikeslayer22 02-19-2012 09:00 PM

Agreed and the worst part is 90% the fish being taken are females right full of eggs!! Maybe some of these lakes should be shut down earlier!!

steve 02-20-2012 05:41 AM

pikeslayer22 02-20-2012 07:10 AM

It seems like its to far for f&w have never seen one up there in 5yrs....go to any lake in the lakeland area including atv access only lakes and they r there like flies...never did figure that one out! all they would have to do is sit on the end of the cutline at the end of day and bobs their uncle!

Kim473 02-20-2012 11:47 AM

Buddy was there yesterday and said they only got 12 between 3 of them. Not any bigger than you would get at N.Buck. All the others that they talked to on the lake wer'nt doing any better. Very slow.
