Beaver beetles .. how do you get rid of them?

hey.. I'm just curious how other people get rid of those little red bugs that crawl out from beavers fur?

ty in advance

Don’t worry about them they do no harm.

Spray them down with KONK before you skin them. I always thought they were a louse of some sort. Whatever they are they are tough as nails. You can freeze a whole beaver outside, thaw him out and those buggers come back to life.

I just give them a short of raid when I bring them into the garage. As stated this little beetles are harmless.

Geez, that makes me itchy! Never been bit by an animal critter but never get used to them either. Can't say I've ever seen an animal that didn't have some type of crawler.

As previously mentioned, RAID always gets a workout once in the garage.

Said they were harmless. Didn’t say same about wife. Lol

Haha, been there done that (except She didn't see it). Just quickly squish it and wipe it up with a napkin. The tick that jumped on Her off of a coyote pelt in the garage, well I will never live that one down. Thankfully it just freaked Her out and never bit down!:scared0015:
