stocked ponds conditions?
 

hey all i just got back from fishing a nearby stocked pond. i fish a lot of these on a regular basis and know them fairly well. but the thing that has been puzzling me lately is alot of these stocked ponds water level is so incredibly low and so heavily weeded like 15+ feet from the shoreline all the way around the pond/lake. these places usually has its typical weeds in it and i also noticed some are starting to have that really melty, stringy type weeds that don't look like it belongs there. i encounter these weeds on rivers alot but not ponds.any info or comments.
