Was at Lower Kananaskis on Sunday. Ice is a good 18" but it's REALLY soft and slushy on top so keep that in mind if you're planning on hauling a lot of gear. Took us awhile to find the deep water where the fish were but once we got over em it was good...

Pine Lake

.....any updates on Pine? How sloppy is it right now? Driveable or no?

Poppa 03-30-2019 07:31 PM

Just in case anyone's checking here looking for info, Pine Lake is toast. All access points are under water. It's done till May.

Sylvan is in great shape and if anyone is going out for final day tomorrow, there's lots of great access and the ice is very thick.
