ON SALE! CHEAP HERRING for bait

Hey guys!

I was picking up frozen herring and smelts for bait at T&T supermarket, Then I came across the fresh fish aisle. It's on sale this week for 2 dollars a pound. Frozen is not on sale but it's still a decent price. The fresh fish is whole and still has the full tails. I bought 6 of these herring for $2.30

#158 - 9450 - 137 th Avenue NW Edmonton AB

I've included the addresses for both supermarkets

I stocked up last time I was in Victoria. $1 for a fairly large bag, probably a dozen in each. I have half a freezer full. Cost me more for the ice to keep them frozen on the ride then the herring did, lol.
Compared to what they want for herring in a bait freezer, that’s a good deal.
Just a heads up, my uncle got some Asian gut (bug?) and likely came from vegetables from there. Buck-Choi No way to know for sure, but it was something they ate regularly. That and noodles from there.
Nothing against the place just Food-for-thought, pun intended.
