7mm PRC
 

How come no one here is talking about the 7mm PRC or did I miss the train?

Not much to talk about yet, no ammo, no brass, other than that I have the dies, the bullets, the powder, the primers and the gun will be here in 3 weeks, I hope to shoot it before this fall.

Yea no brass YET ! Should be soon - There has being some Horn ammo . My brother has being shooting his custom built 7 PRC with the fact ammo and then reloading it Much better FPS from his Handloads over the factory stuff. RJ

I have not been able to find any factory ammo anywhere in Canada yet ??? mind you I have only been looking for about a month :thinking-006:

There was 10 boxes of Hornady Hunter for sale on CGN today and my bro bought it ALL . :) RJ

Scored a couple boxes of 7mm PRC hornady match 180gr yesterday, at least I have something to shoot then reload :)

There are tons of 7mm PRC rifles for sale and you get only 2 boxes of ammo with a $4000 gun:angry3::angry3:

2 boxes beats the poop out of none, at least you would have something to shoot and reload IMHO.

Just need to try and find some load data with US869, it should be a good powder for the heavier bullets

Yea it looks like it will be a good one, I have H1000, Retumbo, H4831, RL25 and US869 so one of those will shoot I think, RL26 fairy dust looks like a good one also but I think it only exists in people minds :thinking-006:

Rl 26 is giving good - top FPS and Accuracy in my Bros PRC :) RJ

Got a Rifle and ammo in 7MM PRC today at Neerlandia CO-OP.. Just that easy!!!!

picked up 6 boxes of 180 eldms for 73 bucks each. now just need the gun to come in.

I got Hornady ELDx ammo and a Sauer 100 xt... Going shooting next week.. Cant wait,

Nobody can answer that for you, depends how bad you want some to start shooting, you saw someone got some for $73 so

The fellow is selling more 180 gr hornady bullets for 120 a box.

He is at gunpost. He offered me to buy more but I don’t have a gun yet and I have 4 boxes 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Reliable has 180 g match for 80 per box. You could always just get a set of dies and reload for it with the 4 boxes you have.

Just picked up 2 boxes 7mm PRC Hornady 180gr match at Neerlandia Co-op for $79 plus tax, he would only sell me 2 boxes as he said he only has enough now for guy's that buy guns from him, at least until he gets more in, which is totally understandable. But it's 2 more boxes :)
